More than 50 police officers from the UK have decided to make this country their home. They were recruited to Auckland via the work-to-residence policy

Last week the Immigration Service approved 47 residence applications. Three officers had already been granted residence via their talent visas. Another eight had gained approval via the family and skilled migrant categories.

“We are continually looking into options to enable entry from overseas officers,” said General Manager Human Resources Wayne Annan.
