This fortnight’s selection under the Skilled Migrant category resulted in 405 applications selected with a points total of 140 or more.
109 applications were selected with a points total between 100 and 140. These applicants had offers of skilled employment in New Zealand.
50 applications were selected with a points total of between 125 and 140 which included 15 points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
A total of 564 applications - representing 1,245 people - were selected. These applicants will now undergo preliminary checks.
486 of the applications were from people with job offers or a job.
