This fortnight’s selection under the Skilled Migrant Category resulted in 378 applications selected with a points total of 140 or more.
98 applications were selected with a points total between 100 and 140. These applicants had offers of skilled employment in New Zealand.
72 applications were selected with a points total of between 100 and 140 which included 15 points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
101 applications were selected with a points total of between 105 and 140 which included 10 points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
A total of 649 applications - representing 1,389 people - were selected. These applicants will now undergo preliminary checks.
