This fortnight’s selection under the Skilled Migrant Category resulted in 476 applications selected with a points total of 140 or more.
112 applications were selected with a points total between 100 and 140. These applicants had offers of skilled employment in New Zealand.
80 applications were selected with a points total of between 125 and 140 which included 15 points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
A total of 668 applications - representing 1,503 people - were selected. These applicants will now undergo preliminary checks.
553 out of the 668 of the applications were from people with job offers or a job.
