Recruitment specialists Hudson have released their survey of employment prospects in New Zealand over the next six months – to December 2006.

The survey of 1,705 Hudson clients shows hiring expectations at +36%.*

This result, while encouraging for those seeking work in New Zealand, is in line with other indications of a softening economy – the survey at the same time last year found hiring expectations had peaked at an all-time high of +43.5%

Employment demand is currently positive in every employment sector – no industries are expecting staffing reductions in the next six months.
