The NZIS has released this fortnight’s figures for successful EOIs for the Skilled Migrant Category.
EOIs were selected as follows:
- 407 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 140 or above.
- 82 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included points for offers of skilled employment or current skilled employment in New Zealand.
- 71 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included 15 points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
- 54 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included 10 points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
- 128 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included 10 points for a qualification in an area of absolute skill shortage
A total of 742 applications - representing 1,608 people - were selected. These applicants will now undergo preliminary checks.
448 out of the 742 of the applications were from people with job offers or a job.
