The NZIS has released this fortnight’s figures for successful EOIs for the Skilled Migrant Category.
EOIs were selected as follows:
- 468 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 140 or above.
- 122 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included points for offers of skilled employment or current skilled employment in New Zealand.
- 73 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included 15 points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
- 32 EOIs were selected that had a points total of 100 or more but less than 140, and included 10 points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage.
A total of 695 applications - representing 1,544 people - were selected. These applicants will now undergo preliminary checks.
141 out of the 685 of the applications were from people with no job offer or without a job.
